● About E-SHIFT
Adapting Skills, Empowering Futures.
The E-SHIFT project, funded under the Erasmus+ KA220-ADU action, runs from September 2025 to August 2027 (24 months). Coordinated by SC’OPARA (France), the consortium brings together 6 partners from 5 countries (France, Germany, Austria, Sweden, and Greece), representing a balanced ecosystem of social enterprises, adult education/training providers, and business associations.
The project’s overarching aim is to help workers in the manufacturing sector stay relevant and confident in a world where automation is changing the way we work. It focuses on giving people the right skills and mindset to adapt to new technologies, explore fresh opportunities, and build more secure careers.
By supporting lifelong learning and encouraging innovation, E-SHIFT aims to make sure no one is left behind as industries evolve and the digital economy grows.
Grand Agreement Number: ERASMUS-KA220-ADU-F4785E4.
Closing Europe’s Digital Skills Gap
Across Europe, people are feeling the pressure of rapid automation. Machines and artificial intelligence are transforming industries faster than ever before, leaving many workers uncertain about their future. Millions of jobs are expected to disappear or change by 2040, especially in sectors like manufacturing and retail.
At the same time, access to digital skills and training remains uneven. While some countries are well-prepared for this shift, others are falling behind, deepening inequalities in the job market.
E-SHIFT steps in to turn this challenge into an opportunity by offering practical, flexible training through microlearning and hands-on workshops, ensuring that people across all partner regions can gain the digital and entrepreneurial skills they need to thrive and remain competent in the job market.
